Questions On Your Account:
Is there a contract?
Absolutely NOT. If you’re not over-the-top thrilled with the level of service you’re getting, then you’re free to cancel at any time.
Is everything confidential?
YES. Your business secrets are kept safe with us, as are any personal details (we won’t divulge your travel plans, what you ask us to research for you, etc). You’re also free to supply your own documents that you want us to sign beforehand.
Can I use my unused credits the next month?
Yes.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my account after I sign up?
Absolutely.
Do you have a guarantee policy?
Since we need to pay each assistant for their tasks and can’t get time “back”, we don’t offer refunds. That being said, we DO guarantee that we’ll work with you to make sure you’re happy with output.
Do you take payments securely? How can I pay?
Absolutely! Our order process is 100% secure and you can pay via credit card, PayPal, wire transfer, or check.
Can I purchase credits a la carte?
Yes. The cost is $8/credit (so it makes more sense to go with a membership). If you want to order the credits though, you may do so here.
Do you have a price list?
Yes we do. Basic prices are on each page. If you would like to inquire about bulk pricing, contact us for our price list. You can also sign up for 200, 300, or 500 credit packages right here.
Do you have an affiliate program?
Questions On Tasks:
How do I give instructions for the tasks I want done?
You will simply submit a ticket every time there’s a task you would like done. We will track all your credits and let you know when you run out.
Does your team speak fluent English?
Yes. Our specialists write and speak in excellent fluent English. All articles and written content are proofread by native English speakers.
How long does it take to get work done?
Work is generally done within 2 weeks, though we guarantee for 30 days to err on the safe side. Time count begins from the time you have given us enough information to carry out the task. We provide all instructions on what we need for each task (ie username and password for twitter followers, or ftp details for a website). If a client forgets to give information, though, it would be impossible to start the task.
What if I want something done that isn’t on the task list?
We went out of our way to make sure only tasks we felt confident we could do were on the site, because we didn’t want to cause any disappointment. We are willing to take on other tasks, but we would ask that you pay a 2 credit/hour training fee, and then credits based on however long the actual project takes.
Can I set up a recurring task that gets done every month or every week?
Absolutely. After you sign up, shoot an email to support @burnyourtodolist.com with your task instructions and we’ll be happy to take care of it for you.
Do you have an affiliate program?
Questions On Articles:
Why are your rates higher for researching a single article (2 extra credits) when it only costs 4 extra credits for 10?
Where we are writing 10 articles on either the same, or similar topics the majority of the research required to write one article can also be applied in part to the others.
Why do you split articles into different types?
Essentially, so that clients requiring straight-forward articles are not being charged the same as someone that has placed a request that needs a significantly higher amount of work.
By splitting the articles this way we can also allocate our writers to the most appropriate jobs. Rather than everything just being ‘articles’, those that require more in depth research or difficulty are only assigned to our strongest writers.
This prevents delays in re-assigning work, in the writer carrying out the work, and also helps to improve our delivery time to you.
What about the Red Eye service? Why should I use it?
We have received feedback that certain clients want their articles, and they want them fast. In order to do that we have to reprioritize writers workloads, see who is available to do the work right at that moment, provide incentive to deliver quickly and follow up with the writer to ensure they remain on schedule.
Since this takes more time for our support staff to organize a small cost is attached to the service.
When will I get my articles if I don’t use the Red Eye service?
We expect that the majority of our clients will not need the Red Eye service. It is intended for use by clients that have tight deadlines to meet and they need the articles ASAP.
For standard packages we aim for delivery within 5 working days, however we guarantee article delivery within 15 working days.
